Former Saint Joseph's standout Brianna Kearns, a 2006 graduate, is in her third year as assistant coach. Kearns was a member of the Varsity 8 for three years, including the boat which won the gold medal at the 2006 Dad Vail Regatta and made the Hawks' first-ever trip to the Henley Royal Regatta. In 2003, she rowed for the Freshman 8 that earned silver medals at both the Atlantic 10 Championships and the Dad Vail Regatta. She most recently served as an assistant coach at Barry University for two seasons and prior to that, worked on the staff at Philadelphia University. Kearns, a native of Northfield, N.J. who rowed for Mainland Regional High School, earned a master's of science degree from Barry University in 2010. |
