Jen Goldsack, a member of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Rowing Team, is in her third year at Saint Joseph's as assistant women's rowing coach, and will serve this year as a volunteer coach.

Goldsack brings an impressive international rowing resume to Saint Joseph's. At the Beijing Olympics, she teamed with Saint Joseph's alum Renee Hykel '01 in the Lightweight Double Sculls. Goldsack and Hykel advanced to the A/B Semifinal but missed qualifying for the medal final by a small margin.

She captured the silver medal in the Lightweight Single Scull at the 2007 World Championships and was a member of the British National Team in 2005 and 2006.

Goldsack is a native of Banstead, United Kingdom who has dual citizenship in the U.S. and the U.K. She began her rowing career at the University of Oxford and graduated from there in 2004 with a master's degree in chemistry.

She is currently training for the 2012 London Olympics and beginning a doctorate program at the University of Pennsylvania.
