PHILADELPHIA -- The Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse team will attempt to win its first Conference Championship when it takes on Massachusetts on Sunday at Temple's Geasey Field. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.

This is the Hawks first appearance in the Title Game while UMass lost a year ago against Temple. SJU is coming off a historic five-goal comeback that saw the Hawks score six unanswered in the final 11:24, which included the game winner by Jen Peters with no time left on the clock off an assist from Abby Renninger.

Jenna Martino scored five times, setting a single-season record for goals and points, while Suzy Herlihy made 13 saves while giving up just seven goals in 55-plus minutes.
