SJU Places Three on City Six Field Hockey Team
Dec. 5, 2005 PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's placed three players, senior Katelyn O'Brien as well as juniors Nicole Antonini and Lauren Luft, on the All-Philadelphia City Six Field Hockey Team in voting conducted by the area's coaches. An All-Philly choice in 2004, O'Brien was previously named to the All-Region first team, as well as the NFHCA North-South Senior All-Star Team this season. Now a three-time All-City honoree, Antonini was an All-Region Second Team pick for teh second straight season. Luft was named to eh All-Philadelphia team for the first time. All three Hawk standouts had previosly been named to the All-Atlantic 10 Conference First Team. In addition to O'Brien, Antonini and Luft, the remainder of the All-Philadelphia Area team featured Drexel's Rachael Bloemker and Amanda Mouser; LaSalle's Allison Geiger and Emily Simone; Penn's Melissa Black, Cara Calahan and Lea Selese; Temple's Alli Lokey and Katie Stevenson; and Villanova's Lauren Campanelli, Megan Foster and Rory Rogers. Villanova captured the City title.
