PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's junior Kellie Walter was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-Mid-Atlantic Second Team today in voting conducted by the region's head coaches.

Walter led the Hawks in goals (10), assists (seven), and points (27) this season, shattering her career highs in all three categories. She had a pair of two-goal games, notching two goals in the opener against Bryant and in the win at Penn. She also recorded a six-game points streak from October 4 through October 19.

For her efforts this season, Walter was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team. She also received All-Academic accolades for the first time as well.
