Antonini, Luft, O'Brien Receive All-A-10 Honors

PHILADELPHIA - For the second consecutive season, Saint Joseph's high-scoring trio of senior Katelyn O'Brien and juniors Nicole Antonini and Lauren Luft have been named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference field hockey first team in a voting conducted among the Conference's head coaches. In that same balloting senior Hilary Moody was named Honorable Mention All-Conference. Senior Shelley Meier and sophomore Rebecca Cunfer were selected to the Academic All-Conference team.

Richmond senior forward Whitney Wells and classmate Allie Howard were named the Conference Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year. Jamie Adams of Rhode Island was tabbed Rookie of the Year and Temple's Amanda Janney, along with Maria Whitehead of Saint Louis, were named Co-Coaches of the Year. Additionally, Massachusetts senior Jaime Bawden was named Student-Athlete of the Year in voting by the Conference's sports information directors.

Joining O'Brien, Antonini, Luft on the All-Conference first-team were Richmond's Wells, Howard and Shannon Taylor; Temple's Lindsey Holman and Alli Lokey; Bawden and Patricia Borneo of Massachusetts; and Amy Wasserman of Saint Louis.

The All-Conference second-team was comprised of Rhode Island's Jamie Adams and Amy Brown; Megan Glielmi and Mary Ellen Wells of West Chester; Richmond's Michelle LaForce, Jodi Murphy, and Michelle Swartz; Kristin Lueders of Saint Louis; Ashley Shepps and Katie Stevenson of Temple; and Katelyn Woolfrey of Massachusetts.

Along with Meier, Cunfer and Bawden, the Academic All-Conference field hockey team consists of teammate Katelyn Woolfrey; Amy Brown of Rhode Island; La Salle's Jillian Moser; Jill Mueller and Michelle Sinclair of Saint Louis; West Chester's Kelly Olinger; Temple's Ashley Shepps; and Michelle Swartz of Richmond.
