Hawks' O'Brien Tabbed to North/South Senior All-Star Team

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's senior field hockey standout Katelyn O'Brien has been selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association North/South Senior All-Star Game. Held in conjunction with the NCAA Field Hockey Final Four, The game will be played at the University of Louisville on Saturday, November 19.

Among the most prolific scorers in school history, O'Brien has twice been named to the All-Philadelphia field hockey team and was an All-Atlantic 10 selection in 2004. The four-year starter has increased her goal-scoring total each year. Her team-leading 13 goals this season rank as the fifth highest single season total in school history. In addition her 28 career goals and 65 points, place her fifth on SJU's all-time lists. In addition, she shares the school record with four goals in a single game.
