ANTONINI PICKS UP SEPTEMBER NOVACARE ATHLETE OF THE MONTH HONOR
PHILADELPHIA (10/10/03) - Freshman field hockey standout Nicole Antonini has been named the Saint Joseph's University NovaCare Athlete of the month for September. The newcomer tallied a team-high six goals and 13 points for SJU.
Antonini was named the National Rookie of the Week by womensfieldhockey.com, as well as the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, September 14. She netted four goals that week, including a hat trick against Sacred Heart.
The Collegeville, Pa. native has ranked among the Atlantic 10 Conference leader in both goals and points all season.
