PHILADELPHIA (9/15/03) - Saint Joseph's freshman field hockey standout Nicole Antonini has been named the National Rookie of the Week by womensfieldhockey.com, as well as the Atlantic 10 Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, September 14. Antonini helped the Hawks win two out of three games, including a 1-0 victory over Lehigh (Sept. 12) and a 5-4 win over Sacred Heart (Sept. 14), with four goals on the week. She tallied the lone goal versus Lehigh and had a hat trick in the second half, including the gamewinning goal, in SJU's 5-4 comeback win over Sacred Heart. The SJU newcomer shard the league's weekly honor with Richmond's Inge van Bogerijen.
