RICHMOND, Va. (11/09/02) - Saint Joseph's University seniors Natasha Pronga and Brett Dymarczyk were named to the Atlantic 10 Conference All-Championship Team. Richmond defeated Massachusetts in the tournament final, 4-1. The Hawks dropped a tough 1-0 decision to the Spiders in Friday's semifinals. Richmond junior Lydia Decembrino was named the Championship's Most Outstanding Player. In addition to Pronga and Dymarczyk, Decembrino and UR teammates Jill Murphy, Michelle Swartz, Michelle La Force and Sandeep Kaur, Massachusetts' Heather Kenney, Patricia Borneo and Adrianne Monaco and West Chester's Stacey Tomes were also naned to the All-Tournament team.
