WEST CHESTER, PA - Sophomore Nicole Antonini tallied her 12th goal of the season, but Saint Joseph's (8-7, 1-3 A-10) fell behind early and suffered a stunning 2-1 setback to West Chester (3-12, 2-2 A-10) in Atlantic 10 field hockey. The win was the first for WCU on its new Multi-Purpose Turf Field, which was dedicated in pre-game ceremonies.

Antonini sliced the lead in half midway through the second half. She punched home a pass from junior Hilary Moody on a penalty corner at the 12:12 mark of the second half.

The Hawks held a commanding 16-4 edge in corners, but could muster only 10 shots on goal. WCU, however was able to deposit two of its six shots into the cage.
