Returning for her fourth season as an assistant coach on the Saint Joseph's staff in 2009 is Jackie Aronchick. A 2006 SJU graduate, Aronchick helped the team during the spring of 2006, acting as the strength and conditioning coach. In 2003, Aronchick served as an assistant varsity field hockey coach at her alma mater, The Episcopal Academy. As a player at SJU, the vocal leader was the recipient of the team's Defensive Player of the Year Award as well as the Vasquez Award Aronchick's Player Stats: 2005: Appeared in all 20 games for SJU, making 19 starts...Tallied three assists...Recipient of the team's Defensive Player of the Year Award, as well as the Vasquez Award. 2004: Appeared in 15 games, making two starts...Picked up lone assist against Massachusetts (10/17). 2002 at Lafayette: Played in 10 games, including the Patriot League semifinal victory. 2001 at Lafayette: Saw action in two games.
