DAYTON, OH (02/10/02) - The Saint Joseph's University women's basketball team has likely lost the services of junior forward Colleen McGahan for the remainder of the season. McGahan broke the ring finger in her right hand during the team's practice session at the Dayton Arena on Saturday. One of the team's captains, McGahan had returned to form this season after missing all of the 2000-01 season with a stress fracture. The second most accurate three-point shooter in school history, she had appeared inall 22 of SJU's games prior to the injury, making seven starts. She was averaging 7.1 points per game (fourth on the team) and ranked sixth in the nation in three-point shooting accuracy, connecting at a 46.7% clip this year.
