PHILADELPHIA - Dear Coaches,

I want to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing to be a part of Saint Joseph's Women's Basketball second annual TEAM camp experience.

Two years ago we hosted our first team camp at Alumni Memorial Fieldhouse. To the credit of our competitive high school teams, we had an overwhelming amount of success. Some of the teams that joined us were Merion Mercy, Gwenydd Mercy, Lower Merion and Paul IV (New Jersey) and highly competitive McDonough School (Maryland).

Unfortunately, our famous Fieldhouse was under construction last year and we were unable to continue our goal to become the best women's basketball team camp in the Philadelphia area.

This year the Fieldhouse is in its last stage of construction, but thankfully we were able to purchase Episcopal Academy which we now call our MAGUIRE CAMPUS. On this part of our campus there is a fully equipped sports facility where we will be holding our 2009 - 2010 Team Camp. Directions attached

Our goal is to secure 12 - 18 teams. As you are aware this economy makes it difficult to register for too many tournaments and camps, but we have lowered our price to make it easier for you. For this year ONLY our price for 4 games and a clinic run by head coach Cindy Griffin and her coaching staff is 175.00 per COMMUTER team. If you are traveling from a distance and wish to stay over night your fee will be 125.00 per player.

Food will only be provided for those teams that are staying overnight ONLY. The commuter teams will be on your own for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, there will be concessions sold at the site. Each game will have two referees and a scoring table manager.

Attached you will find a tentative schedule for your review along with directions to the Maguire campus. I will have a final schedule to you by Wednesday June 17th.

7pm/8pm/9pm--games
10pm-11pm--Overnight camper fun~11pm lights out!

Directions to Saint Joseph's Maguire Campus

DIRECTION FOR SOUTH ON CITY AVE.
When driving south on City Ave. turn right onto Old Lancaster Rd. (54th St. on opposite side of City Ave.) continue on Old Lancaster Rd. to the 4th street on your left, Latches Lane. Turn left onto Latches Lane and proceed 0.3 tenths of a mile to the main parking lot entrance of the Maguire Campus. Turn left into the parking lot. Upon entering the parking lot a uniformed Saint Joseph's University Public Safety Officer will direct you to an available parking spot.

DIRECTIONS FOR NORTH ON CITY AVE.
When driving north on City Ave. turn left onto Raynham Rd. (59th St. on opposite side of City Ave.) continue on Raynham Rd to the 1st stop sign which is Latches Lane. Turn right onto Latches Lane and proceed 0.3 tenths of a mile to the main parking lot entrance of the Maguire Campus. Turn right into the parking lot. Upon entering the parking lot a uniformed Saint Joseph's University Public Safety Officer will direct you to an available parking spot.
