PHILADELPHIA - Three Saint Joseph's women's basketball players have been recognized by PhillyCollegeSports.com for their stellar performances during the 2009-10 season. Seniors Mariame Djouara and Ashley Logue were named to the Philadelphia Division I All-Women's Second Team, while classmate Brittany Ford was a Third Team selection.

A two-year starter after transferring from South Plains College, Djouara has been a reliable scorer for Saint Joseph's, leading all guards in scoring the past two years. One of just two Hawks to start all 32 games this season, she topped the Hawks in steals (49), finished second in assists (57) and led all guards in rebounds (4.4 rpg). A Philadelphia All-Big 5 Second Team honoree as a junior, Djouara scored in every game this year for the Hawks and finished third on the team in scoring at 8.9 points per game.

Finishing the year as the Hawks' leading rebounder (5.3 rpg), Logue averaged a career-best 9.5 points per game over 28 contests, while shooting 44.6 percent from the field (103-of-231). Helping Saint Joseph's to the Hawk Classic title this past December, Logue was named to the All-Tournament Team and caps her career 21st all-time in rebounds with 449 boards.

The 20th Saint Joseph's player to reach 1,000 career points, Ford paced the Hawks with a team-best 10.1 points per game, while shooting 52 percent from the floor (119-of-229). An Atlantic 10 All-Conference Third Team honoree, she finished second on the team with 4.6 rebounds per game and was stellar on the defensive end, blocking a team-high 33 shots. Ford finishes her Hawk career second all-time in blocked shots (111), and 19th in both points (1,009) and rebounds (453).
