Klimowicz Earns Sixth Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week Honor

PHILADELPHIA - For the sixth time this season, Saint Joseph's women's basketball freshman center Hillary Klimowicz has been recognized as Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week, this time sharing the weekly honor with Richmond's Sarah Williams for the week of February 12-18.

On the week, the 6-foot-2 center averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks per game over two contests. Versus #22/23 on Friday, Klimowicz posted her fifth double-double of the season as she added a team-high 13 points and 11 rebounds to go along with her 54th block of the season, tying for 10th all-time in program history. Against Dayton last Sunday, Klimowicz added 10 points a team-high five rebounds in the Hawks 66-65 win.

For the season, Klimowicz leads all newcomers in scoring, averaging 9.4 points per games and also leads the team in rebounding (7.6 per game) and blocks (54). Klimowicz has previously won the A-10 weekly honor November 20, December 4, December 11, December 25 and February 5.

The Hawks (16-8, 8-5 Atlantic 10, 1-2 Big 5) host La Salle Sunday at 2 p.m.
