Hawks Begin Three-Game Road Swing at Dayton Saturday

DAYTON, OH - Saint Joseph's begins its three-game road swing to cap its regular season as the Hawks head to Dayton for a noon matchup Saturday. Currently in fifth place, Saint Joseph's is one game behind third-place Charlotte and Xavier, while the Flyers enter the game tied for sixth with a 5-6 Atlantic 10 record.

SCOUTING THE FLYERS
Dayton hosts its senior day as the Flyers host the Hawks Saturday afternoon at Dayton Arena. Prior to the game, senior forwards Jennifer Strong and Amber Peterink will be honored for their dedication to the Flyer program. The team's leading scorer, Strong enters the game averaging 13.0 points per game, while Peterink, who could earn the start at forward, is averaging 1.6 points per game. Likely to join the starting lineup for head coach Jim Jabir are guards Brittany Holterman *8.9 ppg), Kathy Guin (7.3 ppg) and Kiki Lund (5.1). Having started all 25 games this year, junior forward Nikki Oakland (11.6 ppg and 6.7 rpg) could earn a start or be the first off the bench depending on the senior-day lineup.
