Joe Logan is in his fourth year as a women's basketball assistant coach at Saint Joseph's University. The Hawks have posted a record of 65-30 and reached the postseason in each of his first three seasons at SJU. He spent the previous four seasons as an assistant at his alma mater Loyola (MD) College, the last three years as a member of Cindy Griffin's staff. Logan is primarily responsible for instructing post players and team defense.

At Loyola, like SJU, Logan assisted with on-court instruction, scouting, academic support, game-plan preparation, film exchange, recruiting and travel coordination. He was instrumental in working with the Greyhound frontcourt players and helped guide the team to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference semifinals in three consecutive seasons.

Prior to his stint a LC, He served one season as an assistant men's basketball coach at Centenary College in Hackettstown, New Jersey.

Logan, who graduated from Loyola in 1996 with a degree in history, served for two years as a men's basketball manager, one under current Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser. He also spent two years as a women's basketball manager under Pat Coyle, who is now head coach of the WNBA's New York Liberty. As a manager, he traveled to the NCAA Tournament with both the men's (1994) and women's (1995) teams.

A native of Philadelphia, Logan graduated from La Salle College High School in 1992. A three-year letterwinner in basketball, he helped lead La Salle to two Philadelphia Catholic League Northern Division titles. The 30-year-old Logan was married this past summer and lives in Lancaster, Pennsylvania with his wife, Susan.
