PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's 2009 Atlantic 10 champion men's cross country team was honored at halftime of the men's basketball game against Holy Cross on Tuesday night.

The Hawks A-10 title is their first since 2000 and fourth under head coach Mike Glavin. Glavin received the 2009 Coach of the Year award while three Hawks had All-Conference honors - Kevin Donnelly, Kyle Murray, Jonathan Sclafani - at the meet in Saint Louis. McDonnell led the Hawks with an impressive second place finish, while Murray finished fifth and Sclafani placed 15th.

The Hawks also finished third at the Mid-Atlantic Regionals and will compete in the IC4A championships in Bronx, N.Y. at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
