Hawk Men Win Four of Five at Duquesne Duals

PITTSBURGH,PA - Paced by strong efforts from juniors Joe Mohn and David Masse, the Saint Joseph's men's cross country team opened the season by winning four out of five matches at the Duquesne Duals.

The Crimson and Gray posted victories over Carnegie Mellon (26-29), Pittsburgh (22-33), St. Bonaventure and LaRoche, but dropped a decision to Duquesne (22-37).

Mohn finished third overall in a time of 21:36 and Masse covered the 4.2 mile course in a time of 22:01 to place seventh in the individual competition. The duo's efforts helped SJU overcome the adsence of several key runners, including Andre Laboy, Mike DiDio and Collin Martin.
