Jennings lead Hawk men at Haverford Time Trials

Sophomore Jimmy Jennings finished fourth to lead the Saint Joseph's men's cross country team at the Haverford Time Trials on Friday. Jennings completed the 3 mile course in 16:05. Overall, SJU placed five men in the top ten, however, there was no scoring in the event. Shawn D'Andrea of Philadelphia University won the race in 15:54. Two seconds behind Jennings was fellow sophomore George Wittman running a time of 16:07, finishing in sixth place. SJU then rounded out the seventh, ninth and tenth spots with sophomore Chris Savino (16:13), junior Pete Dittmar (16:14) and freshman Ryan Fenimore (16:17). Freshmen Luke Fischer (16th/16:58), Jesse Brooks (19th/17:14), Vince Collins (21st/17:21), and Kevin Donnelly (23rd/17:56) finished the Hawk line up. The SJU men's cross country team will next compete September 15 in the Fordham Invitational at Van Courtlandt Park in Bronx, NY. SJU Results
