Men's Cross Country Finishes 11th at IC4A Championships
Nov. 21, 2009 Bronx, N.Y. - The Saint Joseph's men's cross country team ran to 11th place at the IC4A Championships in New York on Saturday. Graduate student Kyle Murray finished 10th on the eight-kilometer course. Murray earned completed the tough Van Courtlandt Park track in a time of 25:44.5. Junior Jonathan Sclafani was 14th in a time of 25:53.4 followed by George Wittmann(26:56.5) in 73rd. Sophomore Jesse Brooks (27:02.02) was the Hawks' fourth runner in 79th position and freshman Jon Mazzio (27:06.1) was 82nd. Vince Collins (27:38.0) and Logan Hohs (27:46.1) concluded the scoring in 102nd and 105th place, respectively. Kevin Donnelly finished in 28:07.5 and Steve Young came in at 28:44.6 while Luke Fischer finished in a time of 29:14.2 Saint Joseph's was 11th overall in the 13-team Championship field.
