Meyers leads SJU pack at the Penn State National Meet

STATE COLLEGE, PA - Junior Teddy Meyers once again led the way for Saint Joseph's finishing fourth out of 294 total competitors at the Penn State University National Cross Country Meet. The Hawks posted a team finish of 23rd out of 37 teams in the 5.2 mile run. Meyers clocked in with a time of 25:24 and has placed in the top 10 in every meet he's competed in this season. Also placing for the Hawks was senior Joe Mohn (112th/ 26:58), Sophomore Will Rowland (115th/ 26:58), junior Shawn Duffy (172nd/ 27:37), and senior David Masse (201st/ 28:01). Freshmen Brendan Kearney and Michael Howanski also contributed to the score with times of 28:02 and 28:16 Sophomore Richard Ryan (29:34) and junior Brian O'Neill (30:07) rounded out the SJU line up for the day. Saint Joseph's ended the day with 604 team points while Eastern Michigan took first place with 100 team points. The meet marks the Hawk's last regular season contest. The Hawks look to make a strong showing in their next meet at the Atlantic 10 Championships Saturday, October 29th in Philadelphia, PA.
