Sept. 5, 2010 Pittsburgh, Pa. - The Saint Joseph's men's cross country team competed in the Duquesne Duals 8K at Schenley Park Oval on Saturday. Junior Kevin McDonnell blazed to a second place finish for the Hawks. SJU won five of seven duals and finished with the third-lowest score (86) overall out of the nine competing teams. There was no official team scoring in the meet. McDonnell ran the course in 25:24 while sophomore Jon Mazzio finished 10th in 25:50. Finishing seconds within each other and rounding out the scoring for the Hawks were senior Brian Guterl in 23rd (26:39), freshman Aaron Leskow in 25th (26:43) and senior Kevin Donnelly in 26th (26:46). Junior Murphy O'Donnell completed the course in 27:25 while junior David Evans and freshman Mike Rankin finished in 27:39 and 27:40, respectively. Saint Joseph's compete again on Saturday at the Penn State Spike Shoe.
