FISHER NAMED TO ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT FIRST TEAM
PHILADELPHIA, PA (5/23/02)- Saint Joseph's University cross-country and track standout Tim Fisher has been honored as a First-Team Academic All-District selection by VERIZON/CoSIDA.
Fisher, a junior, has been a top distance runner for SJU each of the last two seasons while holding a 3.81 GPA in Accounting. During his career on Hawk Hill, Fisher has won several events including the 5000-meter event at the 2002 Indoor Atlantic 10 Championships.
For his performance,Fisher earned Atlantic 10 All-Conference team honors. He has been named to the Dean's list, as well as being named to both the Athletic Director's and Commissioner's Honor Rolls every semester.
