ROSETTI LEADS HAWKS AT BOSTON INVITATIONAL
BOSTON, MA - Senior Brian Rosetti won the 1000 meter at the Boston Invitational this past weekend, finishing with a time of 2:24.92 besting all 53 runners in the event. A stellar performance by sophomore Andy Craycraft also helped to lift the Hawks during the weekend trip.
Craycraft, who ran the 500-meter dash in a time of 1:03.11, placed third in the event ahead of competitors from Penn, UConn, Seton Hall and Colgate. Senior James Scott fared well in the 200 meter placing 17th in the 96 runner event with a time of 22.47. Senior Marc Maccario and sophomore Nick Carras also placed well in the 200 with 37th and 27th places respectively.
Other performers included junior Tim Fisher's 34th place finish in the 3000-meter (8:37.16), in a field of over 100 runners. Freshman Brad Schmidt finished 13th in the 1000 with a time of 2:30.22 in a field of 53 runners.
The Hawks will travel to Delaware to compete in the Delaware University Invitational February 2nd
