HAWKS COMPETE AT PRINCETON
PRINCETON, NJ - The Saint Joseph's University men's track team competed at the Princeton New Year's Invitational on Saturday, December 8.
The Hawks were led by sophomore Andy Craycraft who ran the 800-meter dash with an ICAAAA qualifying time of 1:54.39. Craycraft teamed up with seniors Mike McCabe and Marc Maccario, and sophomore Kile Garguilo to place second in the mile relay (3:20.7). Senior James Scott was an individual winner, placing first in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.59 seconds.
Other performers included freshman Tim Curran who placed first in his heat in the 500-meter with a time of 1:07.79 while sophomore Nick Carras finished first in his heat in the 300 with a time of 36.46 seconds.
The Hawks will take a hiatus until the New Year when they travel to Penn State on January 11.
