PHILADELPHIA-- Freshman Tom DiNatale (Reading, Mass./Reading Memorial) was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for his performance at the Lafayette 8 Way Meet on Saturday. Saint Joseph's finished second as a team.

DiNatale finished second in the 200m Dash in a time of 22.10. He followed that up with a time of 11.10 in the 100m Dash, which earned him fifth. The freshman then was a member of the 4x100m relay squad that finished third.

The award is the first for DiNatale and also the first for the team in the 2009 outdoor season.

Saint Joseph's will travel to Williamsburg, Va. to take part in the 44th Colonial Relays at William & Mary starting Friday evening.
