Thomas Wins the 400 in Hawks' Last Meet Before A-10 Championships

New York, NY - Saint Joseph's showed strong effort this Friday at the Rider-Lafayete Invitational held at the Armory. Senior Andrew Thomas clinched a first place finish in the 400 with a time of 48.54 (IC4A/q). Other notable performances came from seniors Matt Petrocci and Dave Masse and sophomore Bobby Staten. Staten came in third in the 60m with 6.97. Masse had a fourth place finish in the 3,000 with a time of 8:45.24 and Petrocci finished the 1,000m in 2:29.07 (IC4A/q) in fifth place. The Hawks return to action this Saturday February 18th, as they head to the Atlantic 10 Championships. Events are set to begin at 10:00am and will be held in Kingston, Rhode Island.
