John Cappiello, a two-time all-conference runner and 1998 graduate of Saint Joseph's, is in his first season as an assistant on Mike Glavin's staff.

Cappiello's best finish was at the 1997 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships, where he finished fourth overall. He was all-conference in 1995 after finishing 10th. A resident of Ardmore, Pa., Cappiello is the CYO Director of Athletics for the Philadelphia area.
