SPENCER FALLS IN FLIGHT B CONSOLATION FINALS AT PRINCETON
PRINCETON, NJ (09/21/03) -- Sophomore Chris Spencer won three straight matches over the weekend to fight all the way back in the consolation bracket before retiring to injury in the backdraw finals of the Farnsworth/Princeton Invitational. Down 6-2 and 4-2 to St. John's Morgan Bauer in the championship, Spencer was forced to retire.
He defeated Rutgers' Gabe Adams, 6-3, 6-2 in the consolation semifinals.
