Princeton Blanks Men's Netters
Feb. 27, 2006 PRINCETON, NJ - The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team (4-3) faced its stiffest competition of the spring season and were unable to take a set from Princeton (2-4) falling to the Tigers at Jadwin Gym, 7-0. Senior Jimmy Holland hung tough at first singles but was bested 6-3, 6-4. Other tigher matches witnessed Phil Bayliss fall at #6 (6-4, 6-3) and Antonio Aniello drop a 6-4, 6-2 decision at fifth.
The Tigers also won all three doubles matches, with the Holland and Aniello falling at #1 (8-4), Garabedian and Bayliss topped at #2 (8-5) and Spencer and Adams dropping an 8-4 decision at #3.
