Hawks Fall to Nationally-Ranked Penn State in Men's Tennis

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at #38 Penn State on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks fall to 0-1 on the spring season.

Number one doubles tandem Phil Bayliss and Michael Stauble fought back from an early deficit in the first doubles match but eventually fell to Jason Lee and Adam Slagter of Penn State, 8-6.

Stauble would later take an early lead in the second set of his third-flight singles match before succumbing to Lee, 6-0, 6-2.

Next up for the Hawks is a match at Fairfield on Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
