Game Time Pushed Back Half Hour for Saturday Men's Soccer Match at Rider

PHILADELPHIA--The Saint Joseph's men's soccer will travel to Lawrenceville, N.J. for their final non-conference road game of the 2008 season against Rider. Game time has been pushed back to 2:30 p.m. and Rider will provide LiveStats for the match. SJU is coming off a 2-0 loss at George Mason, dropping them to 1-2-1 on the season. The Hawks have been shut out in three games, scoring just once in a win over Delaware (3-2 OT) on Sept. 9. Saint Joseph's is led by Giacomo DiLisi and Colin Baker on offense with DiLisi providing a goal and an assist and Baker scoring a goal while leading the team in shots. Bryan Benedict will be between the pipes for the Hawks and sports a 1.11 goals against average with 27 saves in four starts. The senior has kept SJU in every game this season despite the fact that oponents have out shot Saint Joseph's, 79-38. The Hawks are 18-10-5 all-time against Rider, losing last year 2-0 at Finnesey Field in 2007. SJU last defeated the Broncs 2-1 in Lawrenceville in 2001. Rider is 1-6-2 on the season, losing their last game out to Temple, 3-0. The Broncs have posted a 0-1-2 record at home this season, while SJU is 1-1-1 on the road in 2008.
