PHILADELPHIA, PA (4/06/02) - The Saint Joseph's Men's Rowing team took to the Schuylkill river on Saturday, April 6 for races against Temple and Drexel. The Hawk freshman eight defeated Drexel by a length, while the freshmen four and varsity eight, which consists of Drew Parassio, Jon Joyce, Mark Rosenthal, Chris Barrett, Paul Benvie, Jim O'Connor, Matt Gantner, Pete Stajk, and cox Terrie Venglarik both lost close races to Temple and Drexel, respectively. SJU next takes to the water this weekend, rowing at the George Washington Invitational on Saturday, April 13.
