Hawks Look to Defend Dad Vail Crown

PHILADELPHIA - The Saint Joseph's men's and women's rowing programs will seek to defend their title when competition begins at the 2006 Dad Vail Regatta on the Schuylkill River. Action begins on Friday, May 12 at 7:00 AM and continues through Saturday. The Hawk men and women combined to capture the prestigious Jack Bratten trophy in 2005, indicative of the overall points champion. SJU finished as the Dad Vail runner-up in 2004. The Hawk men also stand as the defending Kerr Cup Champions as the top men's crew, while the women finished third in 2005. Complete race results are available at www.dadvail.org.
