WASHINGTON, DC - The Saint Joseph's men's rowing team advanced four boats to the finals at the 18th Annual George Washington Invitational Crew Classic before a crowd of thousands on the Potomac River. The men's Freshman 8 took bronze and the JV 8 captured the Petite final.

SJU advanced both of its Freshman 8 boats to the finals. The Frosh "A" boat placed third behind Virginia and Navy in a time of 6:07.90. The Second Freshman 8 reached the Petite Final and placed fourth in 7:15.40.

The Varsity 8 and Second Varsity 8 both reached the Petite finals. The 2nd V8 won the petite and placed fifth overall in 5:55.20. The V8 was third in the Petite and seventh overall (5:46.40).
