HAWKS STUMBLE AT #19 PENN

Philadelphia, PA - The men's lacrosse team failed to find its offense as the Hawks fell at #19 Pennsylvania, 25-6, Tuesday night. Freshman Mike Pagliaro tallied two goals for SJU while senior Randy McNeill dished out three assists. The Quakers held the Hawks scoreless until the 26 second mark of the second quarter as Penn held a 16-1 advantage at the half. SJU stayed with Penn throughout the second half as the Quakers outscored the Hawks 9-5, but it was too late as SJU falls to 3-8. Bert Whitelock, Alex Heidenberger, Terence Miller, and Matt Durkin rounded out SJU's scoring. The Hawks return to action in a two-game road stand this weekend. On Saturday, the Hawks take on MAAC foe Siena before facing off with Canisius on Sunday.
