PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's junior Peter Slowik has been named to the named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Men's Lacrosse Academic All-Star Team has selected by the Philadelphia Area Sports Information Directors (PhillySIDA).

Slowik, a midfielder from Lafayette, N.Y., played in all 15 games for the Hawks, recording one assist on the season.

He is an accounting major who posted a 3.88 grade-point average, which was the highest on the squad. Slowik received the team's Scholar-Athlete award and is a member of the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. He was also chosen to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
