Paul Crisafulli Selected to Represent SJU at NCAA National Leadership Conference

April 3, 2007

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse player, Paul Crisafulli has been selected to represent SJU at the 2007 NCAA National Leadership Conference, officials announced Monday. The conference involves close to 325 student-athletes each year who compete in fall, winter and spring sports in Divisions I, II and III, and will take place May 27-31, in Orlando, FL.

Crisafulli, a sophomore defenseman, was named to the SJU Athletic Director's Honor Roll both semesters of his freshman year, maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Syracuse, NY native also continues to be a positive force for the Hawks on the playing field, seeing action in seven of nine games this season.

The NCAA National Leadership Conference provides NCAA student-athletes with a forum to openly discuss issues that may affect them on their campuses and in their communities, while also providing them with the opportunity to enhance their leadership, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills. The leadership conference also promotes better communication among student-athletes, coaches, administrators, faculty and communities. The five-day leadership conference consists of daily exercises and activities to help the student-athletes develop as individuals and as contributing members to a group.
