Philadelphia, Pa. - Saint Joseph's men's lacrosse team lost to #14 Brown, 18-4, on Saturday afternoon as a Nor'Easter struck Finnesey with heavy winds and rain. Artie Marrapese notched a goal and an assist for the Hawks.

Brown's Parker Brown score the first two goals spark the Bears' 6-0 lead in the first 11 minutes. SJU's Joey D'Avanzo scored the loan goal for the Hawks in the first quarter to bring it to 6-1, but Brown scored two more for an 8-1 advantage in the frame.

Brown outscored the Hawks, 5-2, in the second quarter while Saint Joseph's goals came from Kyle Williams with 5:02 to go and Marrapese with one second left in the quarter for a 13-3 halftime score.

In the third quarter the teams battled to a 1-1 score with a Hawk' goal from Scott Cullinan one second into the frame.

Brown added four more goals in the fourth quarter to make it a 18-4 final.

The Hawks open conference play when they host Siena next Saturday, March 20, at 1:00 p.m. on Finnesey Field.
