Corrigan Earns Atlantic 10 Golf Rookie Of The Week Honor

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's freshman golfer Colin Corrigan earned Atlantic 10 Golf Rookie of the Week honors for the period of October 25-31.

Corrigan helped the Hawks to an eighth-place finish at the Georgetown Hoya Invitational, held October 25-26 at the par 72 Lansdowne Resort.

Individually, Corrigan finished in a tie for 31st, posting a two round score of 151. Corrigan opened the tournament with a 76 and posted a final-round 75. Corrigan also finished the fall season as the top newcomer for the Hawks, posting a 75.5 strokes-per-round average.

Corrigan is the third SJU golfer to earn A-10 honors this fall. Juniors Sean Seese and Billy Stewart both were recognized as A-10 Players of the Week this fall.
