JAMES CITY, VA (3/23/04) - Playing its first tournament of the spring season, the Saint Joseph's men's golf team struggled placing 19th in the 22 team field at the Kingsmill/WIlliam and Mary Invitational. Freshman Chris Reedman was SJU's top individual finisher placing 40th after carding a 154 (79, 75) over the two day.
The Hawks were in 17th place after the first day of competition and improved their score by 13 strokes on day two, but still lost ground on the overall field.
After Reedman, sophomore Sean Seese (80,80) and freshman Ryan McCarty (81, 79) tied for 73rd shooting 160. Freshman Jim Robertson (86, 76 - 162) placed 85th and senior Brian McDermott (83, 88 - 171) finished 109th.
