PHILADELPHIA (10/19/03) - Sophomore Billy Stewart (77, 75) finished with a two round total of 152 to finish in a tie for ninth place in the individual competition and help the Saint Joseph's golf team to a seventh place finish at the Penn/Big Five Invitational at the Philadelphia Cricket Club. Fellow sophomore Sean Seese (74, 80) joined Stewart in the top 20. He tied for 17th after carding a 154. Seniors Brian McDermott (76, 83) and Tom Spano (80, 79) tied for 39th after carding identical scores of 159. Fellow senior Bill Devlin (80, 83) was 53rd with a two-day total of 163. Junior Steve Curry (83, 82) rounded out the Hawk lineup in 56th place with a 165. The Crimson and Gray wrap up their fall slate next weekend at the Georgetown Invitational.
