LINKSTERS PLACE 14th AT JMU INVITATIONAL
HARRISONBURG, VA (9/21/03) - The Saint Joseph's golf team finished in 14th place at the James Madison Golf Invitational played at Lakeview Golf Course. Freshmen Chris Reedman (73, 73, 75 - 221) and Jim Robertson (76, 73, 74 - 223) were the Hawks top two individual finishers, placing 44th and 56th overall.
Sophomore Billy Stewart (76, 74, 74 - 224) and Brian McDermott (75, 71, 78 - 224) tied for 59th. Sophomore Sean Seese (76, 76, 73 - 225) rounded out the Hawk quintet in 64th.
In the team competition, Georgetown defeated James Madison by one stroke on Monday afternoon. Junior Brett Pitman of Rutgers won the individual crown carding a 69-69-66-204.
