Hawks Conclude Fall Season With 11th-Place Finish at G'Town

Leesburg, VA (10/30/00) - The St. Joseph's University men's golf team concluded a successful fall season with an 11th place finish at the Georgetown Invitational. Held at the Lansdowne Resort, SJU finished with a two-day team total of 641. Leading the way for SJU was junior C.J. O'Connell. O'Connell placed 18th overall with a 155 (76, 79). It was the third straight strong finish for the Hawk captain. Also turning in solid efforts were sophomores Mike Bosica (80, 80 - 160) and Jeff Huntzinger (84, 82 - 166) and freshman Brian McDermott (77, 83 - 160). Making his varsity debut was freshman Bill Devlin. Devlin placed 82nd overall with a two round total of 177.
