Golf Team Inks Jeziorski to National Letter of Intent

PHILADELPHIA - Saint Joseph's golf head coach Bob Lynch has announced that Kyle Jeziorski (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) has signed a National Letter of Intent during the early signing period to attend Saint Joseph's University next year.

Playing at the number one flight from his sophomore year on at Orchard Park High School, Jeziorski set a program record with 33 medalist honors, and twice earned All-Erie County Interscholastic Conference (ECIC) All-Star honors.

The top-ranked player in the ECIC as a senior, Jeziorksi ranked first of 270 golfers, posting a 35.67 strokes-per round average over six matches, while setting the Orchard Park record for lowest round (32). Leading the Quakers to a Section VI title in 2008, he earned ECIC medalist honors and qualified for his second-straight sectional tournament while averaging 37.6 strokes per round and ranking fifth in the ECIC.

Competing as an amateur, Jeziorski earned medalist honors at the 2009 New York State Golf Association Amateur Qualifier at Lancaster Country Club and placed fifth at the 2009 Junior PGA Qualifier for the Buffalo and Rochester, New York regions. The Buffalo District Golf Association Junior Stroke Play champion this past summer, he also won the All-Star Junior Golf Tour with a 74-75/149 at the Penn State University White Course in 2008.

Saint Joseph's will lose seniors Bill Macknis and Zach Smith to graduation in May.
