Hawks Cap Fall with 12th Place Finish at ODU Invitational

KITTY HAWK, NC - The Saint Joseph's golf team capped the fall portion of its schedule Tuesday as the Hawks placed 12th at the Old Dominion/Seascape Invitational. As a team, Saint Joseph's carded a two-round score of 292-298/590 at the par-70 course. Campbell University claimed the team title by four strokes over East Carolina with a score of 556. Individually, senior Phil Arouca and junior Colin Corrigan led the way for the Hawks, as both finished in a tie for 44th-place. Arouca posted a two-round score of 70-78/148, while Corrigan shot 73-75/148. Sophomore Steve Hudacek finished tied for 57th place with a score of 76-75/151, while junior Bob Cunningham posted a 73-80/153 to finish tied for 63rd place. Junior Garret Basalyaga rounded out the five-man team with a score of 87-70/157. Campbell's Kyle Spahr earned medalist honors with a six-under-par 134.
