Hawks 10th After First Day Of Agee Invitational

PROVIDENCE FORGE, VA - The Saint Joseph's University men's golf team stands in 10th place after the first two rounds of the Joe Agee Invitational, hosted by William and Mary. The event was contested at the par 72, 6967 yard, Royal New Kent Golf Club.

As a team, the Hawks posted a two-round total of 303-303/606. Rutgers posted a 577 and holds a three-shot lead over second-place Towson and Wiiliam and Mary (580)

Individually, Billy Stewart is tied for ninth with a one-over-par 72-73/145. Towson's Alex Brueggmann leads the field with a score of 67-72/139.

Stewart posted a two round score 75-73/148, finishing in a tie for 14th place. Freshman Collin Corrigan posted a score of 75-75/151, while junior Sean Seese shot a 79-743/153. Sophomore Jim Robertson posted a 77-80/157 and freshman Ryan McCarty rounded out the five-man team with a total of 84-84/168.

The final round will begin tomorrow morning at 8 a.m.
