Senior Chris Reedman finished third at the Navy Invitational
 
 
Hawk Golfers Place Seventh at Navy Fall Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, MD - Behind a career-best third-place finish from senior Chris Reedman, the Saint Joseph's golf team placed seventh at the Navy Fall Invitational this weekend.

As a team, the Hawks posted a two-round score of 295-294/589 at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Course. Loyola College won the team-title with a +8 576.

Individually, Reedman posted his best individual finish, placing third with a -1 71-70/141. Freshman Cole Wilcox, competing in his first collegiate match, tied for seventh with a +4 71-73/144. Senior Ryan McCarty tied for 50th with a score of 75-77/152, while classmate Phil Arouca tied for 54th after posting a 78-75/153. Junior Colin Corrigan rounded out the five-man team with a score of 80-76/156.

North Dakota State's Eric Johnson (-4 138) earned medalist honors by defeating Loyola's Blake Ferguson in a playoff.

Saint Joseph's returns to action next Sunday and Monday, September 17-18 , at the Towson Invitational.
